BIOGRAPHY

Born in Durban, South Africa, Mike graduated with honors from an intensive Graphic Design program, and after working as a designer for a major nationwide magazine, he decided to follow his passion when a sponsorship opportunity arose and he travelled the world on the pro surfing tour. While on a break from the grueling schedule on the contest circuit he was approached in a nightclub by a top modeling agency. He was selected for an international modeling competion, which led to lucrative campaigns for several international clients across Europe, Asia and the US, most notably Giorgio Armani, Zegna, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer and Lee Jeans, shooting with much sought after photographers like Peter Lindbergh.

But he never dropped his passion for surfing and as fate would have it, Falkow found himself competing in California, and after a year of competition and a top 25 finish, he decided to try his hand at the Hollywood game. He started acting classes and worked on the skills required for this new endeavor. He started booking theater parts, and was praised by critics in the Knightsbridge Theater production of Oscar Wilde’s LADY WINDEMERE’S FAN.

Mike has since been seen in FOX’s FASTLANE, THAT 70s SHOW and several indie films, including the critically acclaimed THE BROTHERS GRIM. Recently Falkow has beeen seen as the undercover FBI agent in Joe Carnahan’s SMOKIN ACES, in the Adam Sandler produced film THE HOUSE BUNNY, starring Ana Faris, the wildly successful and star-studded STRUCK, and starred opposite Erika Chrstensen in MELON – soon to be seen on the festival circuit. Mike also recently lent his vocal talents to FREE WILLY 4 (directed by Will Geiger) and INVICTUS (directed by Clint Eastwood). Mike recently added to his television credits in his Guest star appearance in Law & Order LA opposite Skeet Ulrich and Cory Stoll.

Amongst his many accomplishments, Mike counts his starting a charity for an orphanage in Kenya as one of his most meaningful.
